Si andas recorriendo Vietnam y estás pensando en ir a visitar la increíble e histórica ciudad de Hue, te contamos cómo llegar y qué hacer.

Considerada como la capital histórica del país, Hue ha sido declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco (1993) lo que hace que sea uno de los principales destinos que visitar en Vietnam.

La ciudad se encuentra en la parte central de Vietnam a orillas del Sông Hương, a pocos kilómetros del mar de la China meridional.

Se encuentra a 540 km al sur de Hanoi y a unos 644 km al norte de la mayor ciudad del país Ho Chi Minh antes conocida como Saigón.

Al ser una de las ciudades más importantes del país podremos ir a Hue de una manera cómoda tanto en bus, en tren o en avión.

Tren a Hue:

Hue es parte de la ruta del famoso Tren de la Reunificación que recorre el país de norte a sur. Esto nos permite conectar de una manera cómoda y económica tanto con Hanoi como Ho Chi Minh y el resto de las localidades que se encuentra en esta ruta. Es decir, desde casi todos los lugares de Vietnam, vas a encontrar la forma de llegar hasta Hue.

Nosotras podemos aconsejarte que viajes en tren. Es la forma más económica y la más segura de viajar. Cuando vean que la estación queda "lejos", en realidad son solo 20 minutos caminando desde la estación del tren hasta el centro.

Bus a Hue:

Ir a Hue en micro es muy sencillo. Estés donde estés podes averiguar en tu mismo hotel que seguro ellxs tienen un servicio en el cual te buscan directamente desde ahí y te dejan en la ciudad de Hue. Una vez en la ciudad el micro va parando por distintos lugares y la gente se va bajando. Oficialmente, Hue posee 2 estaciones de autobuses (Estación del Norte y Estación del Sur) que conectan con los principales destinos de Vietnam. Una vez que tengas la direccion de tu hostel/homestay/albergue en Hue, sabrás donde bajarte para que te quede más accesible.

Nota al pie: no en todas las paradas bajan los equipajes que están guardados.

Nosotras nos tomamos un bus que hizo la ruta Ninh Binh-Hue.

El pasaje nos salió 340.000 VND (cada una) y fueron 11 horas en un sleeping bus.

Ir a Hue en micro es la opción que le sigue en cuanto a precio barato. Nosotras viajamos en colectivo porque nos vinimos desde Ninh Binh y no sabíamos muy bien donde nos dejaba el tren. Solo entendímos que el micro te deja en la ciudad y es más cerca y cómodo. Lo cierto es que nuestro viaje fue bastante tremendo y si nos dieran a elegir de nuevo lo haríamos, sin dudarlo, en tren. Pero bueno, como todo, son experiencias y lo bueno es poder contarles para que elijan y se animen a experimentar el viaje que más les cierre.

Avión a Hue:

En la ciudad de Hue se encuentra el Aeropuerto Internacional de Phu Bai. Localizado a unos 15 km a las afueras de la ciudad es uno de los aeropuertos más importantes del país.

Así que si no te gustan los viajes largos o las rutas de Vietnam, podes optar por el avión, aunque es la opción más cara de las tres, claramente.

Elegí la forma que más te convenga y con la que más cómodx te sientas.

If you are touring Vietnam and are thinking of going to visit the incredible and historic city of Hue, we tell you how to get there and what to do. Considered as the historical capital of the country, Hue has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco (1993) which makes it one of the main destinations to visit in Vietnam.

The city is located in the central part of Vietnam on the banks of the Sông Hương, a few kilometers from the South China Sea. It is located 540 km south of Hanoi and about 644 km north of the largest city in the country Ho Chi Minh before known as Saigon. Being one of the most important cities in the country we can go to Hue in a comfortable way both by bus, train or plane. When they see that the station is "far", it is actually only 20 minutes walking from the train station to the center. Bus to Hue: Going to Hue by bus is very simple. Wherever you are you can find out in your hotel that they surely have a service in which they look for you directly from there and leave you in the city of Hue. Once in the city, the bus stops at different places and people get off. Officially, Hue has 2 bus stations (North Station and South Station) that connect to the main destinations in Vietnam. Once you have the address of your hostel / homestay / hostel in Hue, you will know where to get off to make it more accessible. Footnote: not all the stools that are stored are lowered at all stops.

We took a bus that made the Ninh Binh-Hue route. The ticket was 340,000 VND (each) and it was 11 hours in a sleeping bus. Going to Hue by bus is the option that follows in terms of cheap price. We traveled by bus because we came from Ninh Binh and we didn't know very well where the train was leaving us. We only understood that the bus leaves you in the city and is closer and more comfortable. The truth is that our trip was quite tremendous and if we were chosen again we would do it, without hesitation, by train. But well, like everything else, they are experiences and the good thing is to be able to tell them to choose and be encouraged to experience the trip that closes them the most.

Plane to Hue: In the city of Hue is the Phu Bai International Airport. Located about 15 km outside the city is one of the most important airports in the country.
