Visa y extensión para Indonesia. (2019) / Visa and extension (indonesia)

Lo primero que debes saber antes de comprarte el pasaje de ida es que te obligan a presentar un pasaje de salida del país.

Cuando viajas sin futuros destinos, como nosotras, es un bajón que te hagan pagar un pasaje de salida si ni siquiera te pusiste a armar tus planes de cuanto tiempo queres quedarte y mucho menos de cuál será tu próximo país. De repente nos vemos obligadas a decidir cuándo es que nos vamos y hacia donde. Pero bueno, reglas son reglas, así que si queres visitar Indonesia, esto es lo que debes saber:

Si pensas quedarte 30 días o menos:

Desde el 2015, si tu estancia en Indonesia es menor a 30 días, la VISA ES GRATUITA. Lo unico que tenes que presentar al momento de llegar al aeropuerto es:

-Pasaporte con validez mínimo de 6 meses

-Vuelo de salida

Aclaración: Si elegis esta modalidad, luego NO podrás extender el visado y deberás salir del país.

Dato: cuando llegamos al aeropuerto de Denpasar, Bali no nos pidieron el pasaje de salida. No te lo piden cuando entras al país, el tema es que antes de subirnos al avión que nos llevaba a Bali nos obligaron a comprar un pasaje de salida de Indonesia ya que, sin este, no podíamos subirnos al avión.

Si pensas quedarte más de 30 días

Ni bien llegas al aeropuerto, antes de pasar migraciones, te acercas a Visa On Arrival (VOA), un puesto que está en el medio del pasillo, donde pedis extender la VISA.

En el momento tenes que pagar 35 dólares (podes pagar en Dolares o en Rupias). De ahí, con el comprobante de tu pago vas hacia el mostrador de inmigraciones donde te entregan un papel que dice que tenes el visado aceptado para ser extendido.

Extensión del visado en Bali

Antes de los ultimos 7 dias de vencimiento de tu primer visado tenes que presentarte en una de las oficinas de inmigración.

Nosotras fuimos unos días antes de que comenzara la última semana ya que, por motivos religiosos y festivos, las oficinas de inmigraciones iban a estar cerradas durante dos semanas.

El tema es que si lo haces antes, empieza a correr el nuevo mes a partir del día en que te aprueban la extensión. A nosotras no nos paso esto ya que como la oficina cerraba, nos contaron los días a partir del último día que teníamos como primer visado.

Este fue un caso en particular, pero si haces la visa antes de tiempo perdes días.

Vas a tener que tener paciencia para hacer la extensión de la visa ya que el tramite te lleva 3 visitas a inmigraciones!! (y no son consecutivas)

Primera Visita

Te presentas a una de las oficinas de inmigración con:

- Pasaporte y fotocopia

- Pasaje de salida impreso

- Vestimenta apropiada (no podes mostrar hombros, escotes, ni rodillas)

Te entregan unos formularios que los llenas ahi mismo y se los devolves a lxs agentes. En ese momento te entregan un papelito que será tu nuevo pasaporte (ya que el tuyo debe quedar en inmigraciones retenido hasta el ultimo dia) y una factura para que te acerques a cualquier banco y pagues el importe de la extensión de la visa que cuesta 355 Rupias por persona.

4 dias despues, volves a inmigraciones con el comprobante de la visa pagado.

Consejo: guardate una fotocopia de tu pasaporte por si la necesitas para presentarla cuando te lo soliciten (alquilar vehículos, reservar hotel, etc)

Segunda Visita

Te presentas en inmigraciones con:

- El comprobante pago de tu visa

- Vestimenta apropiada

Presentas el pago y te llevan a una sala donde te sacan una foto y te toman las huellas digitales. Te entregan un nuevo papelito donde aparece el dia en que podrás ir a retirar tu pasaporte con tu nuevo visado.

Tercera Visita

Te presentas en inmigraciones con:

- Vestimenta apropiada (insistimos en esto ya que sino NO te dejan entrar)

Eso es todo! Ya tenes tu pasaporte de nuevo con vos, el permiso para quedarte un mes mas y 60 dólares menos! (35 de la visa on arrival y 25 de la extensión!!)

Comentario extra: cada vez que vas a inmigraciones demoras 4 minutos como máximo (si....)

Consejo: ir temprano (no hay gente)

That's it! You already have your passport with you again, permission to stay one more month and 60 dollars less! (35 of the visa on arrival and 25 of the extension !!) Extra comment: every time you go to immigration it takes a maximum of 4 minutes (yeah...)
